I hadn’t planned to pursue a vegetarian lifestyle when I started my weight loss journey. However after about 18 months I found myself almost nearly 100% plant based. What I discovered at that point was how much “Lighter” I felt. I seemed like my digestion system was predictable. My skin seemed brighter and I absolutely had more energy.
When sharing this with people in my circles I was always asked, “What do you do for protein?”
My response was, “did you know a cup of chopped green beans has nearly 2 grams of protein?” 100% of the time that person had no idea. I would go on to discuss how since “at that time” I felt no deficiencies consuming mostly plant based products and I encouraged the people in my circle to go investigate on their own.
